Redragon K732SP and K732MC-RGB-PRO: driver, software, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz in Windows 11/10

Last Updated on 18.09.2026 by DriverNew

Redragon K732SP-RGB-PRO and K732MC-RGB-PRO are wireless mechanical gaming keyboards with three connection methods: USB-C, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth. A separate Redragon system driver is not required for normal operation: Windows automatically uses standard HID drivers.

Both models use the same official Redragon software package. The proprietary software is required for additional settings, including supported key assignments, macros, and RGB lighting.

Important: K732SP and K732MC use the same installer, but this does not mean that all hardware key combinations are necessarily identical. Combinations confirmed by the manual only for the K732MC are specifically identified below as K732MC functions.

Which software to install

K732SP-RGB-PRO and K732MC-RGB-PRO use the same official file:

Redragon_K732SP_K732MC-RGB-PRO_Setup_v2.0_20250104.exe

Model Software
K732SP-RGB-PRO Redragon K732SP/K732MC-RGB-PRO Software v2.0
K732MC-RGB-PRO Redragon K732SP/K732MC-RGB-PRO Software v2.0

The official installer name includes version v2.0 and the date 04.01.2025.

If you have a K732MC, there is no need to look for a separate K732MC-only installer. Redragon officially combines K732SP and K732MC in a single download.

Where to download the software

Use the official Redragon software catalog:

Redragon software

In the list, find K732SP & K732MC-RGB-PRO Gaming Keyboard.

Do not install software for the K737, K732WLB, or another similar model just because you could not immediately find the correct package.

Is a separate Windows driver required?

No. A separate Redragon system driver is not required for normal text input.

  1. Connect the keyboard to the computer via USB-C, the 2.4 GHz receiver, or Bluetooth.
  2. Wait a few seconds.
  3. Open any text editor.
  4. Test letters, numbers, Enter, Backspace, Space, and other main keys.

If the keyboard types normally, the standard Windows HID driver is already working.

There is no need to search for a universal K732 driver or use third-party automatic driver update utilities.

The Windows driver and Redragon Software are not the same thing

The standard HID driver is responsible for basic keyboard operation.

Redragon Software is used for additional features:

  • remapping supported keys;
  • creating macros;
  • configuring RGB;
  • working with profiles and other available settings.

If you do not need additional settings, K732SP and K732MC can be used without installing the proprietary software.

Connection methods

Mode Purpose Redragon Software
USB-C Wired operation, charging, and diagnostics. Works
2.4 GHz Wireless operation through the included USB receiver. Works
Bluetooth Wireless connection without a USB receiver. Not used — switch to USB or 2.4 GHz for configuration.

How to connect the keyboard via USB-C

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard.
  2. Connect the other end directly to a USB port on the computer.
  3. Select wired mode on the keyboard.
  4. Wait for Windows to detect the device.
  5. Test text input.

A wired connection is recommended when installing the software for the first time and when diagnosing any unclear problems.

Connecting the K732MC via 2.4 GHz

For the K732MC, the official manual confirms switching to 2.4 GHz mode using Fn + 4.

Action K732MC
Select 2.4 GHz mode Fn + 4
Pair with the receiver again Hold Fn + 4 for about 3 seconds, then connect the USB receiver.

If the receiver and keyboard are already paired, it is usually enough to connect the receiver and select 2.4 GHz mode.

If 2.4 GHz does not work

If Windows responds when the USB receiver is connected but the keyboard does not type:

  1. Check the battery charge.
  2. Connect the receiver directly to the computer.
  3. Do not use a USB hub for diagnostics.
  4. Try another USB port.
  5. Test the keyboard via USB-C.
  6. Test Bluetooth.

For the K732MC, you can then pair it again using Fn + 4.

For the K732SP, do not use Fn + 4 solely by analogy with the K732MC if your revision works differently. A shared installer does not guarantee that all hardware Fn combinations are identical.

K732MC Bluetooth profiles

The K732MC can store three Bluetooth connections.

Profile K732MC combination
Bluetooth 1 Fn + 1
Bluetooth 2 Fn + 2
Bluetooth 3 Fn + 3

For initial pairing, hold the corresponding combination for about 3 seconds.

After the devices have been saved, a short press of Fn+1, Fn+2, or Fn+3 switches between profiles.

In the Bluetooth device list, the keyboard may appear under a system name such as BT3.0 Keyboard or BT5.0 Keyboard.

Bluetooth works, but Redragon Software does not detect the keyboard

This does not necessarily indicate a malfunction.

Redragon’s proprietary configuration software is intended for use via USB or 2.4 GHz.

If the K732 types normally over Bluetooth but the software reports that the device was not found:

  1. Close Redragon Software.
  2. Switch the keyboard to USB-C or 2.4 GHz.
  3. Wait a few seconds.
  4. Test text input.
  5. Launch the software again.

Do not remove a working Bluetooth driver just because Redragon Software does not detect the keyboard over Bluetooth.

Installing the software in Windows 11

  1. Connect the K732SP or K732MC via USB-C or 2.4 GHz.
  2. Make sure the keyboard works without the software.
  3. Download the official K732SP/K732MC installer.
  4. Close Redragon software for other keyboards.
  5. Run Redragon_K732SP_K732MC-RGB-PRO_Setup_v2.0_20250104.exe.
  6. Complete the installation.
  7. Leave the keyboard connected via USB or 2.4 GHz.
  8. Launch Redragon Software.
  9. Check whether the device is detected.

Installing the software in Windows 10

  1. Connect the keyboard via USB-C or 2.4 GHz.
  2. Wait for Windows to detect the device.
  3. Test normal text input.
  4. Download the official package.
  5. Close software used to manage other Redragon devices.
  6. Run the EXE file.
  7. Complete the installation.
  8. Launch the software while the keyboard is connected.

Windows displays a warning when launching the installer

The verified installer does not contain a standard embedded Authenticode signature in the PE Security Directory, so Windows or security software may display an additional warning.

Do not disable Microsoft Defender, SmartScreen, or antivirus software just to install the keyboard software.

Before continuing:

  1. make sure the file was downloaded from the official Redragon website;
  2. verify the name K732SP_K732MC-RGB-PRO;
  3. do not run installers from unknown websites;
  4. do not replace the software with a random package for another K732 model.

The software says Device not detected

If Windows detects the keyboard and it types normally, but Redragon Software does not detect it, the standard HID driver is already working. There is no need to remove it immediately.

Check the following:

  1. If you are using Bluetooth, switch to USB-C or 2.4 GHz.
  2. Close the software.
  3. Connect the keyboard directly to the computer.
  4. Try another USB port.
  5. Close Redragon software for other models.
  6. Make sure the K732SP/K732MC package is installed.
  7. Launch the software again.

Cannot find the software for the K732MC

Some K732MC owners have encountered a problem where the correct software was difficult to find in the Redragon catalog. As a result, users tried installing software for the K737 or other similar models.

This is not required for the K732MC.

The correct current Redragon download is combined with the K732SP:

Redragon_K732SP_K732MC-RGB-PRO_Setup_v2.0_20250104.exe

If the K732MC already works with this package, there is no need to look for different software.

If you have already installed the wrong software

Windows 11

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  2. Find the incorrect Redragon software.
  3. Click the three-dot button.
  4. Select Uninstall.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Connect the K732 via USB.
  7. Test normal input.
  8. Install the correct K732SP/K732MC package.

Windows 10

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Apps & features.
  2. Find the incorrect software.
  3. Select it and click Uninstall.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Install the official K732SP/K732MC package.

What the software is used for

The proprietary software allows you to use additional keyboard functions.

Depending on the settings available for the model, you can work with:

  • key assignments;
  • Macro Editor;
  • profiles;
  • RGB effects;
  • lighting speed and brightness;
  • other supported functions.

The names of individual tabs may differ depending on the interface version.

How to configure keys safely

Do not change a large number of assignments at once.

  1. Select one key.
  2. Change its action.
  3. Apply the setting.
  4. Check the result.
  5. Only then move on to other keys.

This makes it easier to identify the cause of a problem if incorrect actions appear after configuration.

Configuring macros

  1. Open Macro Editor.
  2. Create a new macro.
  3. Record a short test sequence.
  4. Edit the available delays if necessary.
  5. Assign the macro to a supported key.
  6. Apply the changes.
  7. Test the result in a text editor or another safe application.

After a successful test, you can create more complex macros.

Keys work incorrectly after configuration

If the problem appeared after using Redragon Software:

  1. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  2. Launch the correct K732SP/K732MC software.
  3. Check recently changed assignments.
  4. Delete or disable the problematic macro.
  5. Restore the default key action if this option is available.
  6. Apply the changes.
  7. Test the keyboard in a regular text editor.

Factory Reset for K732MC

For the K732MC, the official manual confirms a hardware reset:

Key combination Function
Fn + Esc, hold for about 3 seconds Restore the K732MC to factory settings.

This is useful after unsuccessful macros, remapping, or other software changes.

For the K732SP, do not automatically use this combination just because the software is shared. If you need to perform a hardware reset on the SP version, refer to the manual specifically for the K732SP.

Windows and macOS modes on the K732MC

Key combination K732MC mode
Fn + W Windows
Fn + A macOS

If the behavior of system keys suddenly changes in Windows, check whether macOS mode was accidentally enabled.

RGB controls on the K732MC

For the K732MC, the manual confirms built-in lighting controls.

Key combination Function
Fn + PgDn Switch between RGB modes.
Fn + ← / → Change the effect speed.
Fn + ↑ / ↓ Adjust the brightness.
Fn + PgUp Change the color of a supported effect.
Fn + Backspace Custom DIY lighting mode.
Fn + Win Lock the Windows key.

K732MC control knob

Action Function
Turn the knob Adjust the volume.
Press Mute or unmute the sound.
Fn + control knob Switch the knob to lighting control.

If the software does not allow you to freely assign an arbitrary function to the knob, this may be a software limitation rather than an installation error.

K732SP: OLED and hardware functions

The K732SP differs from the K732MC in its design and set of hardware functions, including the OLED display.

The same v2.0 package is used for software installation, but K732MC key combinations should not automatically be applied to the K732SP.

If you need to change OLED settings or SP-specific functions, use the controls provided specifically for this model and the features available in the shared Redragon Software.

RGB or other settings are not saved

Not every function is necessarily saved in the same way when the software or keyboard is turned off.

To check:

  1. Change one setting.
  2. Apply the setting.
  3. Close Redragon Software.
  4. Check the result.
  5. Turn the keyboard off and back on.
  6. Check the setting again.

If a setting is available only while the software is running, this does not necessarily indicate a driver malfunction.

The keyboard turns off the lighting automatically

The K732MC includes power-saving behavior in wireless mode.

  • after approximately 3 minutes of inactivity, the lighting turns off;
  • after approximately 30 minutes, the keyboard enters a deeper sleep mode;
  • pressing a key is enough to wake it up.

If operation resumes immediately after a key is pressed, this behavior is not a sign of a malfunction.

The keyboard battery drains quickly

RGB lighting noticeably increases power consumption.

If battery life has become suspiciously short:

  1. Fully charge the keyboard via USB-C.
  2. Temporarily turn off RGB.
  3. Use only one wireless mode.
  4. Compare battery life with the lighting on and off.
  5. Try another known-good USB cable for charging.
  6. Try another USB port.

If a new keyboard drains quickly even with RGB disabled, do not disassemble it immediately — check the warranty first.

The wireless connection periodically drops

Check:

  • the battery level;
  • the distance to the computer;
  • the USB port used by the receiver;
  • whether a USB hub is being used;
  • radio interference;
  • operation via USB-C.

If the keyboard works reliably over a cable, the problem does not appear to be related to a standard HID driver malfunction.

How to check the keyboard in Windows 11

  1. Right-click the Start button.
  2. Select Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards section.
  4. Check Human Interface Devices.
  5. If you are having a Bluetooth problem, also check the Bluetooth section.

The K732 may appear under a standard HID keyboard name. The absence of the word Redragon in the name is not an error by itself.

How to check the keyboard in Windows 10

  1. Right-click the Start button.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards and Human Interface Devices sections.
  4. If you are using Bluetooth, check the Bluetooth section.

If the keyboard types normally and there are no warning icons next to the devices, an additional system driver is not required.

A yellow warning icon appeared in Device Manager

If you have determined that the error is specifically related to the K732:

  1. Disconnect the keyboard.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Find the related device with the warning icon.
  4. Right-click it.
  5. Select Uninstall device.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  8. Wait for Windows to detect it again.
Do not remove random HID, USB, or Bluetooth devices. The keyboard may create several entries for the main keys, multimedia controls, and additional functions.

Do not install firmware from another model

If the software does not detect the K732 or wireless mode stops working, do not use firmware from the K737, K732WLB, another K732, or a keyboard that simply looks similar.

First check:

  • the correct connection mode;
  • the official K732SP/K732MC package;
  • the USB port;
  • wired operation;
  • re-pairing, if it is confirmed for your model.
Configuration software and firmware are different components. Incompatible firmware can disrupt keyboard operation much more seriously than an incorrect installation of the regular Software.

If the keyboard does not work at all

Start troubleshooting with USB-C:

  1. Connect the keyboard directly to the computer with a cable.
  2. Try another USB port.
  3. Try another known-good USB cable that supports data transfer.
  4. Allow the battery to charge.
  5. Restart the computer.
  6. Test the keyboard on another PC.

If wired mode works, troubleshoot 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth separately.

If the K732 is not detected even over USB on another computer, installing different Redragon software usually will not resolve such a hardware problem.

Can the K732SP or K732MC be used without Redragon software?

Yes. The proprietary software is not required for normal text input.

Windows uses standard HID drivers, and the keyboard can operate via USB-C, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth without installing Redragon Software.

Version 2.0 of the software is needed when you want to configure supported keys, macros, profiles, and RGB.
