Redragon K664WBP-RGB-PRO Gloria Pro: software installation, Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, RGB, and problems in Windows 11/10

Last Updated on 18.09.2026 by DriverNew

Redragon K664WBP-RGB-PRO Gloria Pro is a compact mechanical keyboard with a numeric keypad, RGB backlighting, and three connection modes: USB, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz. A separate Redragon system driver is not required for normal operation in Windows — the keyboard uses standard Windows HID drivers. Additional Redragon Software is required for RGB configuration, remapping supported keys, macros, and other functions.

Important: this guide is specifically for Redragon K664WBP-RGB-PRO Gloria Pro. Do not confuse it with K664-RGB-PRO or other Redragon keyboards. Shared Software for two models does not mean they have the same connection methods, battery, Fn combinations, or firmware.

Part 1. Installing and connecting Redragon K664WBP-RGB-PRO

What needs to be installed

For K664WBP-RGB-PRO, it is important to distinguish between the Windows system driver, Redragon Software, and firmware.

Component Purpose
Windows HID driver Provides normal keyboard operation. Windows installs it automatically.
Redragon Software Used for software-based RGB settings, macros, and available key remapping.
Firmware The keyboard’s internal firmware. Updating it is not required for a normal Software installation.

If the keyboard already types text after being connected, this means the basic Windows HID functionality is working. Redragon Software is not required for normal text input.

Which Software to use

K664WBP-RGB-PRO uses a shared installation package for two models:

Redragon_K664-RGB-PRO_K664WBP-RGB-PRO_Setup_v2.0_20231117.exe

The verified file has the following parameters:

Size 4,658,322 bytes
SHA-256 077a79be1b5182f86af21bef482bd84805b7ce3e263d13060420d272f5e76513
Type Windows application, Inno Setup

The installer name explicitly includes K664-RGB-PRO and K664WBP-RGB-PRO. This is shared Software, but the wireless connection instructions below apply only to K664WBP-RGB-PRO.

The verified installer does not have an embedded Authenticode signature. Do not disable Microsoft Defender or SmartScreen just to run an unknown copy of the file. Use an installer obtained from an official Redragon source.

Three connection modes

K664WBP-RGB-PRO supports:

  • wired USB-C connection;
  • 2.4 GHz wireless connection through the included USB receiver;
  • Bluetooth.

The keyboard uses a 2.4G / OFF / BT mode switch.

Connecting via USB

A wired connection is the best option for the initial keyboard check and Software installation.

  1. Move the 2.4G / OFF / BT switch to OFF.
  2. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable directly to a USB port on the computer.
  4. Wait for Windows to detect the device automatically.
  5. Open Notepad and check text input.
  6. After that, install Redragon Software if necessary.

If problems occur, do not use a USB hub, monitor with USB ports, docking station, or extension cable during the initial diagnostics.

Installing Software

  1. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  2. Close previously installed Software for other Redragon keyboards if it is running.
  3. Run Redragon_K664-RGB-PRO_K664WBP-RGB-PRO_Setup_v2.0_20231117.exe.
  4. If Windows displays a User Account Control prompt, check the file name before allowing it to run.
  5. Complete the installation by following the installer’s instructions.
  6. Start the Redragon program while the keyboard is connected.
  7. Check whether Software detects the device and whether the settings are available.

If the exact section names in your version of Software differ, use their purpose as a guide: lighting, key, macro, and profile settings. Do not use interface element names from software for another model.

Checking in Windows 11

If the keyboard does not work even as a normal input device:

  1. Right-click Start.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards section.
  4. Check Human Interface Devices.
  5. Check whether an unknown USB device or a device with a warning icon appears after connection.

For Bluetooth, use:

Settings → Bluetooth & devices

Checking in Windows 10

  1. Right-click Start.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards and Human Interface Devices sections.

For Bluetooth, open:

Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices

Connecting via 2.4 GHz

This mode uses the included USB receiver.

  1. Move the keyboard switch to 2.4G.
  2. If the keyboard is already paired with its receiver, insert the USB receiver into the computer and check operation.
  3. If the connection to the receiver has been lost, hold Fn + 4 for about 3 seconds.
  4. After pairing mode starts, insert the USB receiver into the computer within approximately 20 seconds.
  5. Wait for the connection to be established.
  6. Check text input.
For 2.4 GHz mode, there is no need to add the keyboard through the Windows Bluetooth menu. The connection is established directly between the keyboard and its USB receiver.

Bluetooth: channels 1, 2, and 3

K664WBP-RGB-PRO allows you to use multiple Bluetooth profiles. The Fn + 1, Fn + 2, and Fn + 3 keys are used for them.

This is convenient if the keyboard is used with several computers or other compatible devices.

Connecting Bluetooth in Windows 11

  1. Move the keyboard switch to BT.
  2. Select one of the Bluetooth channels — for example, channel 1.
  3. Put the selected channel into pairing mode.
  4. On the computer, open Settings → Bluetooth & devices.
  5. Turn on Bluetooth.
  6. Click Add device.
  7. Select Bluetooth.
  8. Wait for the keyboard to appear in the list.
  9. It may appear as BT3.0Keyboard or BT5.0 KB.
  10. Select the detected device and complete pairing.

Connecting Bluetooth in Windows 10

  1. Move the switch to BT.
  2. Select the required Bluetooth channel.
  3. Put the channel into pairing mode.
  4. Open Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices.
  5. Turn on Bluetooth.
  6. Click Add Bluetooth or other device.
  7. Select Bluetooth.
  8. Select the keyboard from the list of detected devices.
  9. Complete the connection.

The keyboard does not appear in the Bluetooth list

If K664WBP-RGB-PRO does not appear among the available devices:

  1. Make sure the switch is set to BT, not 2.4G.
  2. Select one of channels 1–3.
  3. Put the selected channel into pairing mode again.
  4. Turn the computer’s Bluetooth off and on again.
  5. If the keyboard was previously added to Windows, remove the old pairing and create a new one.
  6. Move the keyboard closer to the computer for the initial connection.
  7. If the battery charge is low, connect USB-C and charge the keyboard.

The keyboard connects to the wrong device

When multiple Bluetooth profiles are used, the keyboard may switch to a previously saved computer.

In this case, select another saved channel using Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3. If you need to replace the device associated with a specific channel, put that particular channel into new pairing mode.

Part 2. RGB and macro configuration and troubleshooting

RGB backlighting without Software

K664WBP-RGB-PRO supports built-in backlight control from the keyboard.

Key combination Function
Fn + Right Shift Switch between built-in RGB effects
Fn + Enter Change the color in effects where color selection is supported
Fn + ↑ / ↓ Adjust brightness
Fn + ← / → Adjust effect speed
Fn + Space Turn the backlight on or off
Fn + Backspace Custom backlight configuration

The keyboard provides 16 built-in RGB effects.

Configuring RGB through Redragon Software

Software makes it easier to change supported backlight settings.

  1. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  2. Start Redragon Software.
  3. Open the lighting settings section.
  4. Select the required effect.
  5. Configure the available color, brightness, speed, or other settings.
  6. Apply the changes.

If the software offers additional custom modes, use only the settings displayed for K664WBP-RGB-PRO. The available functions may differ from other Redragon keyboards.

Software does not detect the keyboard

If the keyboard types text but the software does not detect it:

  1. Switch the keyboard to wired mode.
  2. Connect it directly to the computer via USB-C.
  3. Close Redragon Software.
  4. Open it again.
  5. Make sure the package specifically for K664-RGB-PRO / K664WBP-RGB-PRO is installed.
  6. Try another USB port.
  7. If Software for another Redragon keyboard was previously installed, uninstall it and reinstall the correct package.
For the initial Software configuration, a wired USB connection is recommended. The fact that the keyboard works normally via Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz does not guarantee that all software configuration functions will be available in the same mode.

Software installs, but the settings are not applied

  1. Make sure the software has actually detected the keyboard.
  2. Connect it via USB.
  3. Change a simple setting, such as an RGB effect.
  4. Apply the change using the software.
  5. Close Software and start it again.
  6. If the software was previously used with another keyboard, reinstall the correct version.

If the hardware RGB key combinations work but changes made through the software are not applied, the problem is related to Software or its interaction with the device, not necessarily to the backlighting itself.

Macros and key remapping

Redragon Software allows you to use supported programmable functions, including macros and remapping available keys.

When creating a macro:

  1. Open the corresponding section in Software.
  2. Create a new sequence.
  3. Record the required keystrokes.
  4. If necessary, check the intervals between actions.
  5. Save the sequence.
  6. Assign it to a supported key.
  7. Apply the setting and check the result.

Not all system and service keys are necessarily available for remapping. If Software does not offer a specific key for modification, do not try to work around this by installing software for another model.

The backlight turned off in wireless mode

In wireless mode, the keyboard uses power-saving features. After a period of inactivity, the backlight may turn off, and after a longer idle period, the device enters sleep mode.

If the keyboard unexpectedly goes dark:

  1. Press any key and wait for it to wake up.
  2. Check whether text input works.
  3. If the keyboard does not wake up, check the BT/2.4G switch position.
  4. Check the battery charge.
  5. If necessary, connect USB-C for charging.

If input works after waking but RGB remains off, check the backlight setting using Fn + Space and the brightness level.

The keyboard stopped working after sleep

First try to wake the device by pressing a key normally. If the connection is not restored:

For Bluetooth

  1. Check whether the correct channel 1, 2, or 3 is selected.
  2. Switch the keyboard to another mode and then back to BT.
  3. If necessary, turn Windows Bluetooth off and on again.
  4. As a last resort, remove the old pairing and create it again.

For 2.4 GHz

  1. Make sure the USB receiver is connected.
  2. Connect the receiver to another USB port.
  3. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G again.
  4. If the connection has been lost, perform re-pairing using Fn + 4.

Connection to the 2.4 GHz USB receiver has been lost

If the keyboard works via USB and Bluetooth but not through the included receiver:

  1. Set the mode to 2.4G.
  2. Remove the USB receiver.
  3. Hold Fn + 4 for about 3 seconds to start pairing.
  4. Insert the receiver into a USB port on the computer within approximately 20 seconds.
  5. Wait for the connection to be restored.

If several USB receivers from different Redragon devices are being used, make sure that the original K664WBP-RGB-PRO receiver is connected.

A key does not work after replacing the switch

K664WBP-RGB-PRO supports Hot-Swap. When replacing a mechanical switch, it is important not to bend the metal contacts.

  1. Disconnect the keyboard.
  2. Remove the keycap.
  3. Remove the switch using the dedicated tool.
  4. Before installing the new switch, check the metal contacts.
  5. They must be straight.
  6. Align the switch with the socket and install it without excessive force.
  7. After installation, connect the keyboard and test the key.
If the switch does not fit into the socket normally, do not force it. First remove the switch and check the contacts. A bent metal contact may cause the key not to register at all.

Factory Reset

If incorrect RGB settings, macros, or key remapping interfere with normal operation, you can use a hardware reset.

Fn + Esc Hold for about 3 seconds to restore factory settings
Factory Reset may remove custom keyboard settings. Use it after simpler troubleshooting methods, not as the first step for every problem.

The Windows key is locked

If the Windows key unexpectedly stops opening the Start menu, the Win gaming lock may be enabled.

To control this function, use the Fn + Win combination confirmed for this model. Press it again to unlock the key.

Do not treat the conflicting Fn + W designation found in some versions of the documentation as a universal command for switching Windows mode. Published instructions for K664WBP-RGB-PRO are not fully consistent on this point.

How to reinstall Software in Windows 11

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
  2. Find Redragon Software.
  3. Uninstall the program.
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Connect K664WBP-RGB-PRO via USB.
  6. Make sure the keyboard types normally.
  7. Reinstall the correct K664 package.

How to reinstall Software in Windows 10

  1. Open Settings → Apps → Apps & features.
  2. Uninstall Redragon Software.
  3. Restart the computer.
  4. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  5. Check operation without the software.
  6. Install K664 Software again.

The keyboard is not detected at all

If K664WBP-RGB-PRO does not work even via USB, first rule out a connection problem.

  1. Move the switch to OFF.
  2. Connect the keyboard via USB-C.
  3. Try another USB port on the computer.
  4. If possible, try another compatible USB cable.
  5. Do not use a USB hub.
  6. Test the keyboard on another computer.
  7. Check Device Manager to see whether a new HID or USB device appears.

If the wired connection does not work on several computers, installing Redragon Software usually does not resolve the problem because the additional software does not replace the basic USB/HID connection.

Do not install firmware from another K664

Do not install random firmware from K664-RGB-PRO or another revision just because the shared Software has the K664 designation. A shared software installer does not prove that the controller, wireless module, or USB receiver firmware is identical.

If the keyboard works normally as a HID device but the problem exists only in Redragon Software, reflashing should not be the first troubleshooting method.
