Drivers for Xerox Phaser 3020 printer. Download and install all necessary drivers and software. After installing this software, you will be able to use all the features of your Xerox Phaser 3020 printer. If you have difficulties installing drivers or if the printer does not work properly after installation, read here about ways to solve such problems.
How to install the Xerox Phaser 3020 printer driver correctly: Do not connect the printer to the computer. Start installing the software first. During the installation process, a message will appear on the monitor informing you when to connect the printer to your computer.

If you see the message ‘Found New Hardware’ on the screen, click Cancel and disconnect the USB cable. Then proceed to install the software. A common mistake when installing a driver is that you first connect the device to your computer using a USB cable and then install the driver. In this case, the operating system detects the connected device and installs its own driver, which may not work correctly or not work at all. However, some other devices may work fine with the driver installed by the operating system. Therefore, if there is a driver specially created for your device, then first start installing this driver and only then connect the device to the computer.

Important information for owners of modern ARM laptops!
If you use a laptop with Windows 11 on an ARM processor, a regular Xerox driver for Windows 11 x64 may not install or may work incorrectly. This problem occurs especially often when connecting a Xerox printer or MFP with a USB cable. In this case, the cause is usually not the printer or the USB cable, but the fact that Windows 11 ARM64 requires a special ARM64 driver.
For many Xerox devices, the problem can be solved with the official Xerox Global Print Driver ARM64. This driver is not installed through the usual setup.exe file, but manually through an INF file: x3UNIVX.inf is used for PCL6, and x3UNIVP.inf is used for PostScript. For detailed instructions on installing Xerox on an ARM laptop via USB, network, IPP/Mopria, and Xerox Print and Scan Experience, see the separate article: why a Xerox printer or MFP does not work on an ARM laptop with Windows 11 and how to fix it.

Thank you. The driver is installed and works well.
