Redragon K734SP-RGB-PRO WILDSLASH PRO: driver, software, Bluetooth, and 2.4 GHz in Windows 11/10

Last Updated on 18.09.2026 by DriverNew

Redragon K734SP-RGB-PRO WILDSLASH PRO is a wireless mechanical TKL keyboard with three connection methods: USB-C, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth. A separate Redragon system driver is not required for normal use: Windows automatically uses standard HID drivers.

The proprietary Redragon software is required for additional settings, including remapping supported keys, creating macros, and advanced RGB lighting configuration.

Important: if the keyboard works normally over Bluetooth but Redragon Software does not detect it, this does not necessarily indicate a malfunction. To configure the keyboard through the proprietary software, use a wired connection or 2.4 GHz mode.

Which software to install

For the K734SP-RGB-PRO, use the official installer:

Redragon_K734SP-RGB-PRO_GASKET_Mounted_Setup_v2.0_20250220.exe

The file name indicates version v2.0 and the date 20.02.2025.

This EXE is keyboard configuration software, not a required Windows system driver.

Where to download the software

Use the official Redragon software catalog:

Redragon software

In the list, find K734SP-RGB-PRO Gaming Keyboard.

Do not install software for another model just because it looks similar or has a similar designation.

Windows displays a warning when launching the installer

The verified K734SP-RGB-PRO installer does not contain a standard embedded Authenticode signature. Therefore, Windows or security software may display an additional warning.

Do not disable Microsoft Defender, SmartScreen, or antivirus software just to install the software.

Before launching it:

  1. make sure the file was downloaded from the official Redragon website;
  2. check the K734SP-RGB-PRO designation;
  3. do not use installers from unknown websites;
  4. do not replace the software with a random package for another Redragon model.

Is a separate Windows driver required?

No. A separate Redragon driver is not required for basic operation.

  1. Connect the keyboard to the computer via USB-C, 2.4 GHz, or Bluetooth.
  2. Wait a few seconds.
  3. Open any text editor.
  4. Test letters, numbers, Enter, Backspace, and Space.

If the keyboard types normally, the standard HID driver has already been installed automatically by Windows.

There is no need to search for a universal K734SP driver or use third-party automatic driver update utilities.

Connection methods

Mode What it is used for Redragon Software support
USB-C Wired operation, charging, diagnostics. Yes
2.4 GHz Wireless operation through the included USB receiver. Yes
Bluetooth Wireless connection without a USB receiver. No — switch to USB or 2.4 GHz for configuration.

Connecting via USB-C

  1. Move the mode switch to the OFF position.
  2. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard.
  3. Connect the other end directly to the computer.
  4. Wait for Windows to detect the device.
  5. Test text input.

Wired mode is recommended when installing the software for the first time and when troubleshooting any unclear problems.

Connecting via 2.4 GHz

  1. Move the switch to the 2.4G position.
  2. Connect the included USB receiver to the computer.
  3. Wait a few seconds.
  4. Test the keyboard.

If the receiver and keyboard are already paired, the connection is established automatically.

Pairing 2.4 GHz again

Step Action
1 Disconnect the USB receiver from the computer.
2 Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode.
3 Hold Fn + 4 for about 3 seconds.
4 After pairing starts, connect the included USB receiver.
5 Wait for pairing to complete.

During pairing, the light bar flashes yellow rapidly. After a successful connection, it returns to the normal lighting mode.

If 2.4 GHz does not work

  1. Fully charge the keyboard.
  2. Connect the receiver directly to the computer.
  3. Do not use a USB hub for testing.
  4. Try another USB port.
  5. Repeat pairing using Fn + 4.
  6. Test operation via USB-C.
  7. Test Bluetooth.

If USB and Bluetooth work but 2.4 GHz does not, the problem no longer appears to be caused by a missing Windows HID driver.

Bluetooth: three saved devices

  4. If this profile was previously paired with another PC, remove the old device in Bluetooth settings.
  5. Search again.
  6. If necessary, use another BT profile.

Bluetooth works, but Redragon Software does not detect the keyboard

This is a normal scenario for the configuration software.

  1. Close Redragon Software.
  2. Switch to USB-C or 2.4 GHz.
  3. Wait for Windows to detect the device.
  4. Test normal input.
  5. Launch the software again.

Do not remove a working Bluetooth driver just because Redragon Software does not detect the keyboard over Bluetooth.

Controlling RGB without the software

Key combination Function
Fn + Ins Switch between built-in RGB effects.
Fn + ← / → Change the effect speed.
Fn + ↑ / ↓ Adjust the brightness.
Fn + Del Change the color of a supported effect.
Fn + Backspace Switch to custom RGB configuration.

The number of effects is listed slightly differently in different official Redragon materials, so use the modes actually available on your keyboard and in the current software version.

Controlling the light bar

Key combination Function
Fn + Pause Switch the light bar mode in wireless mode.
Fn + ScrLk Change the speed of the light bar effect.
Fn + PrtSc Change the light bar color.

The Windows key does not work

Key combination Function
Fn + Win Lock or unlock the Windows key.

If only the Windows key has stopped working, press Fn+Win again before reinstalling drivers or software.

WIN/MAC switch

The keyboard has a Windows/Mac switch.

If system or multimedia keys begin performing unexpected actions in Windows, first check the position of this switch.

An incorrect WIN/MAC mode cannot be fixed by reinstalling the HID driver. First select the correct operating system mode.

Factory reset

Key combination Action
Fn + Esc, hold for about 3 seconds Restore the keyboard to factory settings.

Factory Reset is useful after unsuccessful remapping, macros, or lighting changes.

The keyboard turns off the lighting automatically

In wireless modes, this is a normal power-saving feature.

Inactivity period Behavior
About 3 minutes The lighting turns off.
About 30 minutes The keyboard enters a deeper sleep mode.

Press any key to wake the keyboard.

The keyboard battery drains quickly

The lighting noticeably increases power consumption. If battery life seems too short:

  1. Fully charge the keyboard via USB-C.
  2. Temporarily turn off RGB.
  3. Use only one wireless mode.
  4. Compare battery life with the lighting on and off.
  5. Try another known-good USB cable.
  6. Try another USB port for charging.

If a new keyboard drains quickly even without RGB, do not disassemble it unnecessarily — first check the warranty service options.

The keyboard does not reconnect after sleep

  1. Press any key.
  2. If there is no response, switch the connection mode and then switch it back.
  3. Check the battery charge.
  4. For 2.4 GHz, reconnect the receiver.
  5. If necessary, repeat Fn+4 pairing.
  6. For Bluetooth, select the required Fn+1/2/3 profile.
  7. Test operation via USB-C.

Keys work incorrectly after configuration

If the problem appeared after a macro or remapping:

  1. Connect the keyboard via USB.
  2. Launch K734SP Software.
  3. Check recently changed assignments.
  4. Delete the problematic macro.
  5. Restore the default key action.
  6. Apply the changes.
  7. If necessary, hold Fn+Esc for about 3 seconds.

One mechanical key does not work

The K734SP-RGB-PRO supports hot-swap. Therefore, if one specific key is faulty, you can test the switch separately.

Before replacing the switch, first rule out software causes:

  1. Check the key assignment in Redragon Software.
  2. Delete the associated macro if one exists.
  3. Perform a Factory Reset.
  4. Test the key again.

If the problem persists, you can test the switch.

How to test the switch using hot-swap

  1. Disconnect the keyboard from USB and turn off wireless mode.
  2. Remove the keycap from the problematic key.
  3. Carefully remove the switch using an appropriate tool.
  4. Inspect the switch contacts.
  5. For testing, you can swap it with a known-good compatible switch.
  6. Turn on the keyboard and test both positions.

If the fault moves with the switch, the switch itself is likely the problem. If the same keyboard position still does not work, the cause may be in the socket or PCB.

Do not use excessive force when removing the switch. Make sure that a compatible mechanical switch is being used and that its pins are not bent.

RGB or other settings are not saved

  1. Change only one setting.
  2. Apply the setting.
  3. Close the software.
  4. Check the result.
  5. Turn the keyboard off and back on.
  6. Check the setting again.

If a particular function works only while the software is running, this does not necessarily indicate a malfunction of the HID driver.

How to check the K734SP in Windows 11

  1. Right-click the Start button.
  2. Select Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards section.
  4. Check Human Interface Devices.
  5. If you are having a Bluetooth problem, also check the Bluetooth section.

The K734SP may appear under a standard system HID keyboard name. The absence of the word Redragon in the name is not an error by itself.

How to check the K734SP in Windows 10

  1. Right-click the Start button.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Check the Keyboards and Human Interface Devices sections.
  4. When using Bluetooth, check the Bluetooth section.

A yellow warning icon appeared in Device Manager

If you have determined that the error is specifically related to the K734SP:

  1. Disconnect the keyboard.
  2. Open Device Manager.
  3. Find the related device with the warning icon.
  4. Right-click it.
  5. Select Uninstall device.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. Connect the keyboard via USB-C.
  8. Wait for Windows to detect the device again.
Do not remove random HID, Bluetooth, or USB devices. The keyboard may create several entries for the main keys, multimedia controls, and additional functions.

Do not install firmware from another model

If the software does not detect the K734SP or wireless mode does not work, do not install firmware from another Redragon keyboard.

First check:

  • the correct connection mode;
  • the official K734SP v2.0 package;
  • operation via USB-C;
  • the USB port;
  • Fn+4 pairing for 2.4 GHz;
  • the Bluetooth profile;
  • Factory Reset.

If the keyboard does not work at all

  1. Move the switch to the OFF position.
  2. Connect the keyboard with a USB-C cable.
  3. Try another USB port.
  4. Try another known-good cable that supports data transfer.
  5. Allow the battery to charge.
  6. Restart the computer.
  7. Test the keyboard on another PC.

If the keyboard works over USB, troubleshoot Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz separately.

If the device is not detected even over USB on another computer, installing another version of Redragon Software usually will not resolve such a hardware problem.

Can the K734SP-RGB-PRO be used without Redragon software?

Yes. The proprietary software is not required for normal text input.

Windows automatically uses the standard HID driver, and the keyboard can operate via USB-C, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth without Redragon Software.

Version v2.0 of the software is worth installing when additional key assignments, macros, and advanced RGB configuration are required.
