Therefore, use the page specifically for K681 as your main reference rather than relying on the EXE filename matching the name on the box.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>Do not install software for another K681 model.<\/strong> Redragon has separate K681-SP, K681GB-PRO-DE, and other variants. Speed adjustment applies only to dynamic effects.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>If the RGB lighting turns off:<\/strong> first press <strong>FN + SPACE<\/strong>, then press <strong>FN + \u2191<\/strong> several times. There is no need to reinstall the software to restore the built-in lighting.<\/div>\n<h2>Custom lighting without software<\/h2>\n<p>K681 allows you to create your own lighting configuration directly from the keyboard.<\/p>\n<p>Use the following shortcut:<\/p>\n<p><strong>FN + Backspace<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Switch to custom lighting mode.<\/li>\n<li>Press and hold <strong>FN + Backspace<\/strong> to begin recording the custom configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Configure the colors of the required keys.<\/li>\n<li>When finished, use <strong>FN + Backspace<\/strong> again to save the configuration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The FN key itself cannot be programmed separately in custom mode.<\/p>\n<h2>Multifunction control knob<\/h2>\n<p>K681 has a multifunction rotary control knob.<\/p>\n<p>In normal mode:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>turning it clockwise increases the volume;<\/li>\n<li>turning it counterclockwise decreases the volume;<\/li>\n<li>pressing it mutes or unmutes the sound.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To switch the knob to lighting control mode, press and hold it for approximately <strong>3 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In lighting mode:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>turning the knob changes the brightness;<\/li>\n<li>pressing it switches between RGB effects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To control the volume again, press and hold the knob for approximately 3 seconds once more.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>If the knob stops changing the volume, it may be in lighting control mode.<\/strong> Press and hold it for about 3 seconds to return to normal mode.<\/div>\n<h2>Switching between Windows and macOS modes<\/h2>\n<p>If the system or multimedia keys do not work correctly, check the operating system mode.<\/p>\n<p>For Windows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>FN + W<\/strong> \u2014 hold for approximately 3 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>For macOS:<\/p>\n<p><strong>FN + A<\/strong> \u2014 hold for approximately 3 seconds.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>If the Alt, Win, or other system functions unexpectedly behave differently in Windows, first switch back to Windows mode using FN + W.<\/strong> There is no need to reinstall the driver.<\/div>\n<h2>How to check the battery level<\/h2>\n<p>To display the battery level, use:<\/p>\n<p><strong>FN + ALT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The battery level is displayed using the number row keys. The color and number of illuminated keys provide an approximate indication of the remaining charge.<\/p>\n<p>When the battery level is low, it is recommended to connect the keyboard via USB-C.<\/p>\n<h2>Sleep mode<\/h2>\n<p>To save power, the wireless K681 automatically reduces power consumption during periods of inactivity.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>after approximately 3 minutes of inactivity, the lighting may turn off;<\/li>\n<li>after approximately 30 minutes, the keyboard enters a deeper power-saving mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To wake the keyboard, press any key and wait for the wireless connection to be restored.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>The lighting turning off automatically after a period of inactivity is not a malfunction.<\/strong> This is a power-saving feature.<\/div>\n<h2>Resetting K681 to factory settings<\/h2>\n<p>If the keyboard does not work correctly after configuring the software, macros, or RGB lighting, perform a hardware reset.<\/p>\n<p>Press and hold:<\/p>\n<p><strong>FN + ESC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hold the shortcut for approximately <strong>3 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After the reset, select the required connection mode again and test the keyboard before launching the Redragon software.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>The reset deletes saved custom settings and macros.<\/strong> Use it if you need to return the keyboard to its default state.<\/div>\n<h2>What the K681 V2.0 software is used for<\/h2>\n<p>The proprietary software is intended for advanced configuration.<\/p>\n<p>The software provides supported functions related to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>key remapping;<\/li>\n<li>macro creation;<\/li>\n<li>configuration profiles;<\/li>\n<li>advanced RGB lighting control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The software is not required for connecting via USB-C, 2.4 GHz, or Bluetooth.<\/p>\n<h2>Creating macros<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Launch the Redragon K681 software.<\/li>\n<li>Open the macro section.<\/li>\n<li>Create a new macro.<\/li>\n<li>Record the required key sequence.<\/li>\n<li>If necessary, configure the delays.<\/li>\n<li>Save the macro.<\/li>\n<li>Assign it to a supported key.<\/li>\n<li>Apply the changes.<\/li>\n<li>Test the result.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"background: #fffbf0; border-left: 4px solid #ff9800; padding: 12px 15px; margin: 16px 0;\"><strong>When using macros in games,<\/strong> follow the rules of the specific game.
