Sometimes printing starts working again after restarting the printer or reinstalling the driver, but the problem returns the next day.<\/p>\n<p>The most common cause is a WSD queue or a change in the printer&#8217;s IP address. The router assigns the device a new address, while Windows continues sending print jobs to the old one. A more reliable solution is to keep the IP address fixed and use a <strong>Standard TCP\/IP Port<\/strong> with the <strong>RAW<\/strong> protocol and port <strong>9100<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #eef6ff; border-left: 5px solid #2271b1; margin: 20px 0; padding: 14px 18px;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 8px;\"><strong>Where to start<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0;\">Print an OKI network information page and write down the current IPv4 address. Then compare it with the address on the <strong>Ports<\/strong> tab in the printer properties. If WSD is selected or a different IP address is specified, create a new Standard TCP\/IP Port. There is no need to reinstall the driver before performing this check.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Which models this guide applies to<\/h2>\n<p>The procedure for checking the port and IP address applies to the following models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>OKI B412dn, B432dn, B432dnw and B512dn;<\/li>\n<li>OKI ES4132dn and ES5112dn;<\/li>\n<li>OKI MB472dn, MB472dnw, MB492dn and MB562dnw;<\/li>\n<li>OKI ES4172LP MFP, ES4192 MFP, ES5162 MFP and ES5162LP MFP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wired models use Ethernet, while <strong>dnw<\/strong> versions may also use a wireless connection. It is important to check the address of the active network interface. Restore the connection to the router first.<\/li>\n<li><strong>0.0.0.0.<\/strong> The network interface is not configured or the connection has not yet been established.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The address is different from the one recorded earlier.<\/strong> You need to change the Windows port and keep the new address fixed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On a model with Wi-Fi, do not confuse the wireless interface address with the Ethernet address. If the cable and Wi-Fi connections were configured at different times, the network information page may contain information about both connections.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2. Create a Standard TCP\/IP Port<\/h2>\n<p>The following wizard is almost identical in Windows 11 and Windows 10.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>Ports<\/strong> tab, click <strong>Add Port<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Standard TCP\/IP Port<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>New Port<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the wizard, click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the printer name or IP address field, enter the IPv4 address from the printed network information page.<\/li>\n<li>The port name will be created automatically. You do not need to disable SNMP on the printer itself for the entire network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Step 6. If a Standard TCP\/IP Port already exists<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>On the <strong>Ports<\/strong> tab, select the printer&#8217;s existing port.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Configure Port<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Compare the <strong>Printer Name or IP Address<\/strong> field with the current IPv4 address shown on Network Information.<\/li>\n<li>If the address is old, replace it with the new one.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>RAW<\/strong> and port <strong>9100<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Clear <strong>SNMP Status Enabled<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong> and <strong>Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Print a test page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the address field is unavailable or this port is used by another printer, do not change it. Create a new Standard TCP\/IP Port as described in the previous section and assign it only to the required OKI queue.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 7. Keep the IP address fixed so the problem does not return<\/h2>\n<h3>Option 1. Reserve the address in the router<\/h3>\n<p>This is the preferred method for home and small office networks: the printer continues receiving its network settings automatically, but the router always assigns it the same address.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the Network Information page, find the <strong>MAC Address<\/strong> of the active network interface.<\/li>\n<li>Open the router&#8217;s web interface.<\/li>\n<li>Find the list of DHCP clients or connected devices.<\/li>\n<li>Find the OKI device by name, IP address or MAC address.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Reserve<\/strong>, <strong>Address Reservation<\/strong>, <strong>Static Lease<\/strong> or a similar command.<\/li>\n<li>Reserve the current IPv4 address for the printer&#8217;s MAC address.<\/li>\n<li>Save the settings and restart the printer.<\/li>\n<li>Print Network Information again and make sure the address has not changed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Section names vary depending on the router manufacturer. Do not create a reservation for the Wi-Fi MAC address if the printer is actually connected by cable, and vice versa.<\/p>\n<h3>Option 2. Set a manual address on B412, B432, B512, ES4132 or ES5112<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Before you begin, determine an unused address, subnet mask and gateway for your network.<\/li>\n<li>On the control panel, open <strong>ADMIN SETUP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the current administrator password.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>NETWORK SETUP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>IP ADDRESS SET<\/strong> &gt; <strong>MANUAL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>IPV4 ADDRESS<\/strong> and enter the prepared address.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the correct <strong>SUBNET MASK<\/strong> and <strong>GATEWAY ADDRESS<\/strong> values.<\/li>\n<li>Save the settings and wait for the network interface to restart.<\/li>\n<li>Create a Windows port for the new address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Option 3. Set a manual address on MB472, MB492, MB562 or ES MFP<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare an unused IP address, subnet mask, gateway and, if necessary, DNS settings.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>SETTING<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Easy Setup<\/strong> and press <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the administrator password and confirm the login.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Network Setting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Manual<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the IP address and press <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the subnet mask and gateway.<\/li>\n<li>If the MFP uses Scan to E-mail, Internet Fax or Scan to Shared Folder, do not skip the required DNS and WINS settings.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the setup and wait for the settings to be applied.<\/li>\n<li>Change the Windows port to the new address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div style=\"background-color: #fff4f4; border-left: 5px solid #d63638; margin: 20px 0; padding: 14px 18px;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0 0 8px;\"><strong>Do not choose an arbitrary static address<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0;\">The address must belong to the same subnet, must not be used by another device and must not conflict with the dynamic DHCP range. Incorrect values can make the printer inaccessible and disrupt Scan to Shared Folder or e-mail sending. If you do not know the required network settings, use DHCP reservation in the router.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Step 8. Remove duplicate queues only after successful testing<\/h2>\n<p>Windows may keep several queues for the same model: WSD, IPP, USB and Standard TCP\/IP. First determine which queue works correctly.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Print a test page through the queue that uses the new Standard TCP\/IP Port.<\/li>\n<li>Open its properties and make sure the PCL6 driver for the exact OKI model is selected on the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Rename the working queue, for example <strong>OKI B432 TCP-IP<\/strong> or <strong>OKI MB472 TCP-IP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Printers &amp; scanners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the printer settings section, disable <strong>Let Windows manage my default printer<\/strong> if you want to keep one printer as the default.<\/li>\n<li>Set the tested TCP\/IP queue as the default printer.<\/li>\n<li>Delete the old WSD or IPP queue only after ordinary documents print correctly through the new queue.<\/li>\n<li>Do not delete the USB queue if it is used on the same computer as a backup connection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>If the web interface opens but the printer remains Offline<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <strong>Printer properties<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Ports<\/strong> again.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the new Standard TCP\/IP Port is selected, not WSD.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Configure Port<\/strong> and check RAW, 9100 and that SNMP Status is disabled.<\/li>\n<li>Open the queue and clear offline mode.<\/li>\n<li>Delete any stuck print jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Win + R<\/strong>, enter <code>services.msc<\/code> and restart <strong>Print Spooler<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Temporarily test printing without a VPN and third-party firewall.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the computer is not connected to a guest network that blocks access to local devices.<\/li>\n<li>Print the internal Configuration or Network Information page. If the internal page does not print, troubleshoot the device itself first.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the browser opens the OKI page but port 9100 is blocked by the corporate network, RAW printing must be allowed between the computer and the printer&#8217;s IP address.
