Connect the multifunction printer to the computer<\/h2>\n<p>After the <strong>\u201cConnect Cable\u201d<\/strong> window appears, complete the steps in the following order:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Connect the almost square USB-B connector to the port on the back of the multifunction printer.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the flat USB-A connector directly to a USB port on the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure that the cable is fully inserted at both ends.<\/li>\n<li>Press the power button on the multifunction printer.<\/li>\n<li>Wait until the power lamp lights up.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for the installer to detect the device.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Detection may take several minutes.
