The print job may remain in the queue, be sent to another printer, or disappear immediately without printing.<\/p>\n<p>If the test page prints, the USB connection, main driver, and multifunction printer itself are usually working. Also make sure that the multifunction printer is turned on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Method 6. Restart the multifunction printer and the Windows Print Spooler<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Print Spooler<\/strong> service receives jobs from programs and sends them to the printer driver. If the service is not working correctly, documents may remain in the queue.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1. Restart the multifunction printer<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Close all programs from which printing was performed.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off the multifunction printer using the power button.<\/li>\n<li>Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Wait approximately 20 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Reconnect the cable.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the multifunction printer.<\/li>\n<li>Wait until the power indicator stops flashing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Step 2. If there is no suitable USB port, it is better to reinstall the official Canon driver.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Method 10. Check the problematic document<\/h2>\n<p>If Notepad and other files print but one specific document does not, you do not need to reinstall the driver.
