border: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 12px; white-space: pre-wrap; overflow-x: auto;\">services.msc<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Find the <strong>Print Spooler<\/strong> service.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click it.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Stop<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Do not close the <strong>Services<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<li>Press <strong>Windows + R<\/strong> again.<\/li>\n<li>Enter:\n<pre style=\"background: #f4f4f4; border: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 12px; white-space: pre-wrap; overflow-x: auto;\">%WINDIR%\\System32\\spool\\PRINTERS<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If Windows asks for permission, click <strong>Continue<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the files inside the <strong>PRINTERS<\/strong> folder.<\/li>\n<li>Delete these files. Do not delete the PRINTERS folder itself.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the <strong>Services<\/strong> window.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click the <strong>Print Spooler<\/strong> service.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Start<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Close the window.<\/li>\n<li>Restart the computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Method 9: Check the USB Connection<\/h2>\n<p>Follow this section if the printer is connected to the computer with a USB cable.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Turn off the printer.<\/li>\n<li>Disconnect the USB cable from both the computer and printer.<\/li>\n<li>Wait approximately 15 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the square USB Type-B plug to the printer.<\/li>\n<li>Connect the other end directly to a USB port on the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Do not use a USB hub, docking station, or a USB port on a keyboard.<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the printer.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for Windows to detect the device.<\/li>\n<li>Try printing again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If the problem persists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>connect the cable to another USB port;<\/li>\n<li>try another working USB Type-B cable;<\/li>\n<li>do not use an excessively long cable;<\/li>\n<li>temporarily disconnect other unnecessary USB devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Method 10: Check the Port for a USB Connection<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Press <strong>Windows + R<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Enter:\n<pre style=\"background: #f4f4f4; border: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 12px; white-space: pre-wrap; overflow-x: auto;\">control printers<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Right-click <strong>Canon TS9500 series<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Printer properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Open the <strong>Ports<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For a USB connection, a port with a name similar to one of the following should normally be selected:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"background: #f4f4f4; border: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 12px; white-space: pre-wrap; overflow-x: auto;\">USB001\r\nUSB002\r\nUSB003<\/pre>\n<p>In the <strong>Printer<\/strong> column next to the selected port, <strong>Canon TS9500 series<\/strong> should be displayed.<\/p>\n<p>If a network port, WSD port, or port for another printer is selected:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>Find the USB port associated with Canon TS9500 series.<\/li>\n<li>Select the checkbox next to it.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Print a test page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Do not select a random USB port if no Canon device is shown next to it.<\/p>\n<h2>Method 11: Check the Network Connection and Port<\/h2>\n<p>Follow this section for a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Check whether the printer is connected to the network.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the computer is connected to the same local network.<\/li>\n<li>Disable the VPN.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Printer properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Ports<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A network installation may use:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a Canon network port;<\/li>\n<li>a standard TCP\/IP port;<\/li>\n<li>a WSD port.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the printer\u2019s IP address has changed, the old port may no longer work.
