For example, Canon has a package for LBP6030w\/LBP6030B\/LBP6030 where \u201cSupported Models\u201d lists only those models; LBP6040 is not included, so using that package as a \u201cuniversal\u201d driver for LBP6040 is a bad idea.<\/p>\n

Connect the Canon LBP6040 to the computer using a USB cable. Turn on the printer and wait about 10\u201320 seconds.

Note: If printing does not work later, you can try USB002 in: Right-click the printer \u2192 \u201cPrinter properties\u201d \u2192 \u201cPorts\u201d tab.<\/p>\n

4. Install the Canon driver using \u201cHave Disk\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In \u201cInstall the printer driver,\u201d click: \u201cHave Disk\u2026\u201d \u2192 \u201cBrowse\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

In the file selection window, go to the folder where you extracted the driver, then to: \u2026\\UFRII\\uk_eng\\x64\\ Select the \u201cDriver\u201d folder and click \u201cOpen\u201d \u2192 \u201cOK.\u201d<\/p>\n
